'Infinity' superstar Mariah Carey has revealed that she will guest star on the popular drama series, 'Empire'. 

The beauty received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this week and just before she accepted the honour, the TV show's creator Lee Daniels told the crowd about her impending cameo: "Watch her on 'Empire', you guys. She's coming on 'Empire'."

As Carey gave her speech at the Walk of Fame, she confessed that being celebrated in such an iconic way means the world to her: 

"Thank you so much, really, everybody for being here ... I just want to thank all the fans for coming. This is a huge honour. A childhood dream come true ... Before these kids take me off the stage, I guess I should move along. Thank you so much."

Carey, meanwhile, will make her directorial debut later this year on a special Christmas movie for Hallmark. It will form part of Hallmark's annual Countdown to Christmas season and is called 'Mariah Carey's Christmas Project'.
