Mariah Carey wants blockbuster Beyoncé collaboration

Mariah Carey has expressed her desire to work with Beyoncé.

The singer opened up about the possibility of the blockbuster duet happening to Access Hollywood.

She said if the 'Formation' star doesn't end up collaborating with her, they will still be friends.

Carey said: "I would love to work with her anytime, she's amazing.

"We've known each other for a while...It'll happen, when and if it happens...And if not, I'll always admire her and look at her as a friend.

"We have a lot of fun, she's fun. She's a great girl. I love her so much, I really do."

Carey meanwhile is celebrating after getting engaged.

Australian casino owner James Packer popped the question in January.
