Mariah Carey on 'American Idol' stint: 'It was the most abusive experience'

Superstar Mariah Carey recently sat down to talk about her new docu-series at the Beverly Hilton ballroom for the Television Critics Association's summer press tour and opened up about what the programme will show.

When asked if her ex-husband Nick Cannon will appear on 'Mariah's World', she said: "I can’t speak for [him]. He’s his own person. He’s cool about coming around the show [...] Well, I said he came around, I don’t know what makes the final cut. I’m sorry, was that rude in some way? I’m so not trying to slay anybody."

She also confessed that her twins, Moroccan and Monroe, could have their own show because they're so entertaining: "Here’s the thing: They could have their own show because that’s how funny they are. I just have to figure it out -- with Nick -- how much they’re in the show. They’re in my life. We’ll see. I think it should be sparing."

Carey spoke very briefly about her stint as a judge on 'American Idol' and added: "Oh, it was the most abusive experience."
