Mariah Carey has unveiled a track dedicated to re-elected US President Barack Obama.

Through the night and into this morning (November 7), the Democrat gained the necessary 270 votes in the presidential election to swat away competition from rival Mitt Romney, meaning that he will enjoy another four years in the White House.

Music stars such as Lady Gaga and Katy Perry quickly voiced their joy and relief that Obama won the vote.

Global 14 have now exclusively posted online a track by Mariah Carey called 'Bring It On Home', which she performed live at an Obama fundraiser in the summer.

Producer Jermaine Dupri released the studio version of the track as the US looks ahead to another term under Obama.
