Mariah Carey is recovering after dislocating her shoulder.

The incident occurred on Sunday (July 7) whilst the vocal star was working on the promo video for a remix of her single '#Beautiful'.

She was taken to hospital, with her shoulder then put back into place. Carey's publicist Cindy Berger said:

"Mariah was injured while filming a video for the remix of '#Beautiful', directed by her husband Nick Cannon. She was taken to hospital late last night, where doctors reset her shoulder. She is fine and is recovering at home."

None of Carey's upcoming concerts are scheduled to be affected by the injury.

The singer meanwhile is due to release her forthcoming album 'The Art of Letting Go' later this year.
