Mariah Carey has announced the release date of her next single.

The vocal talent will unleash a new track on Valentine's Day (February 14).

It will be the third track to be lifted from her upcoming album 'The Art of Letting Go', which is due for a spring release.

She confirmed the news whilst appearing on Carson Daly's New Year's Eve TV special.

Carey meanwhile recently streamed her latest single 'The Art of Letting Go' online - but she later apologised for uploading the wrong version.

She blamed a new sound engineer for the mishap, which saw an unfinished copy of the track uploaded.

Carey said: "There's no doubt in my mind that this sounds like a self absorbed diva on a "woe-is-me" tangent about a couple of ad libs or some other triviality, but the reality is this is me, focusing solely on the record, wanting you to hear it and experience it the right way."
