Marilyn Manson reveals that Justin Bieber's t-shirt misunderstanding has been resolved

Marilyn Manson has revealed that Justin Bieber contacted him to apologise over their misunderstanding which was instigated when Manson's image was used in Bieber tour merchandise for the 2016 Purpose World Tour.

Appearing on the Howard Stern's SiriusXM Show on September 19, Manson told the show host that Bieber texted him:

"Bro, it's Bieber, what's up with this article? I thought we had a pretty pleasant interaction. Also, if anything wasn't squared away with the T-shirts, I'm so sorry.

"Anyway, regardless, it kind of stung seeing that I came off as an asshole or even just was an asshole. I'm sorry?

"Honestly, I thought we hit if off. Again, my bad. If I was an asshole, that wasn't my intention. Just want you to know that."

Manson explained that he replied that it was a 'fake feud, and:

'Don’t apologise. You weren’t an asshole. They asked if you were and I sort of agreed. I wasn’t out to get you. If not, I’ll try to avoid more questions today on Stern.’

In 2016 the T-shirt designer, Jerry Lorenzo, thanked Marilyn Manson on Instagram for signing off on the t-shirt design. This was the first time Manson learnt that his image had been used.
