Johnny Depp to feature on Marilyn Manson's new album

Johnny Depp is set to feature on Marilyn Manson's new album, it has emerged.

The shock-rocker told MTV that Depp recorded guitar and drums on a new track - which is a Carly Simon cover - and said that it will be a bonus track on his forthcoming album 'Born Villain'.

He said: "We did a cover version together of a song which we thought was ironic for each other. He played drums and lead guitar, and I played guitar and sang. It's a bonus track on my record and the video will probably be us looking at each other like a mirror."

Manson, who is famed for his gothic makeup and snarling onstage persona, also revealed that he will be performing at the birthday party of Johnny Depp's son Jack. He added:

"Johnny's son Jack – whose birthday I'm gonna be performing at – was in the room and he actually played on the song too. It's pretty cool."

The singer also opened up on how he first met the Hollywood A-lister. He said:

"I met Johnny when I was 19 when I was an extra on 21 Jump Street. I bought his daughter her first pair of high heels when she was wearing diapers, so we've been friends for a long time."
