Mark Ronson's 'Uptown Funk' stays at No. 1 for a fifth week

'Uptown Funk' by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars is sitting at the top of the UK chart for a fifth week.

The lead single taken from Ronson's 'Uptown Special' album debuted at No. 1 back in December, was then temporarily dethroned for a single week and since regaining the top spot has remained the UK's only chart topper of 2015.

'Uptown Funk' has now tied with the previous longest running No. 1 single, 'Blurred Lines' by Robin Thicke, Pharrell Williams and T.I., which topped the chart for five weeks back in summer 2013.

Once again, 'Uptown Funk' is also the most streamed track of the week with 2.45 million plays.

At No. 2 this week is another non-mover in the form of Philip George's 'Wish You Were Mine'. The No. 3 spot belongs to Hozier as 'Take Me To Church' has risen two places. 'Up' by Olly Murs featuring Demi Lovato is also a non-mover at No. 4. And completing the top five is Ed Sheeran with 'Thinking Out Loud' down two to No. 5.

There are no new entries to this week's official UK top 40.
