Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars continue to top UK singles chart with 'Uptown Funk'

Now entering it’s sixth non-consecutive week at No. 1, ‘Uptown Funk’ by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars is still the only chart-topping single of 2015.

Once again ‘Uptown Funk’ has beaten its own streaming record as this week it received 2.56 million plays, which bettered last week’s total of 2.55 million streams.

This week’s highest climber is ‘Lips Are Movin’’ by Meghan Trainor which has climbed 48 places to No. 2.

Completing this week’s top five is a non-mover at No. 3 from Hozier with ‘Take Me To Church’, ‘Wish You Were Mine’ by Philip George is down two to No. 4, and ‘Up’ by Olly Murs featuring Demi Lovato is down one to No. 5.

Other than Meghan Trainor, there are no new entries to this week’s UK Top 40.
