Mark Ronson's 'Uptown Funk' biggest selling single in UK this year

Mark Ronson's 'Uptown Funk' has been named as the top selling single in the UK of 2015 so far.

The track has sold a combined total of over one million dates this year to date.

The Official Charts Company report that this figure comprises of 810,000 sales and 26 million streams.

At No.2 on the list meanwhile is Ellie Goulding's 'Love Me Like You Do', which has over 725,000 sales.

Hozier's 'Take Me To Church' is the third top selling single of the year so far whilst Philip George's 'Wish You Were Mine' is No.4 with combined sales of 460,000.

Other high selling singles include Ed Sheeran's 'Thinking Out Loud', James Bay's 'Hold Back The River' and Meghan Trainor's 'Lips Are Movin''.
