Mark Ronson wasn't impressed by Kanye West's Glastonbury set

Musician Mark Ronson has revealed that he was really looking forward to watching Kanye West's set at this year's Glastonbury Festival, but felt as though the star didn't fully deliver.

During an interview with Nick Grimshaw on BBC Radio 1 this morning (July 2), the superstar admitted that he was a little disappointed with West's set as he had very high expectations:

"He really can put on some of the best shows, I don't know if that was one of them. People that I spoke to that saw it on TV said it was great. People near where I was standing, and that is a lot of people wearing Kanye T-shirts, were just like 'We've seen better Kanye West shows'. That was kind of it. I totally thought it was going to be Jay Z part two."

West recently spoke out about the petition that was launched to try and stop him from headlining the event and told Q magazine: "I'm not concerned about race. I don't think it has to do with race at all. There's something abnormal about anyone speaking their mind in today's society. It's even more shocking or radical for someone to see a darker skin be so confident. Because we've been advertised against it. So it's surprising when someone darker really believes in themselves and speaks up about it."
