Mark Ronson on Beyoncé's Amy Winehouse cover: 'Amy would have been flattered'

Producer and music maker Mark Ronson has praised Beyoncé's cover of Amy Winehouse's 'Back To Black'.

The superstar recorded a special version of the track for the forthcoming 'Great Gatsby' soundtrack and Ronson, who was a longtime collaborator of Winehouse's, played it on his East Village Radio show and explained that she would have loved the cover:

"I'm flattered and honoured. I know Amy would be too."

Amy's father, Mitch, recently confessed that while Beyoncé doesn't seem to bring anything special to the song it's great from the perspective that sales will benefit the Amy Winehouse Foundation:

"I like Beyoncé's cover and have no probs. monies received will help lots of kids. She can do another cover if she wants. We need the money!"
