GLOBAL SUPERSTAR MADONNA SIGNED SINGLE UP FOR GRABS

London, July 30, 2015 – Global Superstar Madonna is well known for pushing the boundaries with her lyrical content and show-stopping performances, although her guest appearance in the 1985 film Vision Quest was a little less risqué.

Part of the soundtrack for the film, ‘Crazy for You,’ was originally released in the same year and CharityStars, Britain’s leading online charity marketplace, has an original signed and framed 12” record of the single up for grabs.

Madonna not only released this song as part of the film’s soundtrack, but also had a cameo role in the motion picture as a singer at a local restaurant: her very first mainstream movie role.

The estimated value of this historic record is £2,000, and bidding currently starts at just £360.

All proceeds of the record’s sale will go to the CharityStars Foundation. Created in 2015, the Foundation’s mission is to provide fundraising support to non-profit organisations across the globe. The CharityStars Grant Foundation specifically raises funds for charities that do not have sufficient ambassador and corporate support infrastructure, inhibiting these charities from taking advantage of the fundraising approach offered by ‘CharityStars’.

CharityStars Grant Foundation supports international charities and non-profit organisations within a wide range of domains, including culture and recreation, education and research, health, social services, environment, housing and advocacy.
