Mel C proved yesterday that she really still is Sporty Spice after finishing "first female in my wave" at the Virgin Active London Triathalon. 

The 'Rock Me' singer spent Saturday, July 30 tackling a triathalon and she tweeted about her success this morning. She completed the race in 1 hour 34 minutes and 5 seconds, and wrote to her followers:

"Hmmm, a bit achey. Will tweet my times later. I'm pleased, come in just under what I wanted for each event. Transitions a bit too long..."

"But overall pleased. A good solid start to my triathloning! Good Luck to everyone competing today #VALT #virginactivelondontriathlon"

Writing publicly to Coldplay, Mel C added "I did it! I finished first female in my wave! Thank you so much for your incredible sponsorship. Safe travels"
