Mel C thinks Lady Gaga and Katy Perry aren't good role models

Melanie C thinks that the wrong message is being sent to teenage girls courtesy of scantily-clad pop stars such as Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.

In an interview with People, the 'Rock Me' singer explained that it's negative to imply that in order to be successful as a woman you should have to take your clothes off and flash the flesh:

"It sends the wrong message to teenage girls. Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Britney Spears have great voices and don't need to take their clothes off."

"Young fans can be impressionable. Sometimes people go a little too far."
