Nashville’s The Silver Seas have been piling on the plaudits since the release of their album “Chateau Revenge” in late 2011.  Fans of the band will know that they recorded two versions of the album, the original RED version and the mellower BLUE version (due April 24th).

Following their recent headline UK tour, the band will now be coming back for the Latitude festival in July as well as two very special London shows.  The first, on October 26th will be at Islington Town Hall, and will feature the whole of the BLUE version of the album.  Then on October 27th the band will move to Islington’s 02 Academy to play the RED album in its entirety.

Ticket prices are: £18.50 for each show or a £30 ‘Chateau Pass for both nights if bought as a bundle. Doors are 7.30 p.m. for Oct 26th, and 6.30 p.m. for Oct 27th.

Frontman Daniel Tashian says “The blue version of Chateau was done to offer a late-night companion to the red version. I loved the films "red" "white" and "blue" by the great Polish director Krzysztof Kieślowski as well as the Record "Up" by Shania Twain - which appears in 2 forms.  I still want to make the white version (synths) and we hope a double vinyl version of red and blue will be available soon.”

On their last visit to the UK the band dropped in on the Bob Harris and Danny Baker shows where they played a couple of fantastic sessions.
