M.I.A. releases surprise new song 'Can See Can Do'

M.I.A. surprised her fans yesterday (March 7) by unleashing a brand new song.

The ‘Paper Planes’ rapper sent out a couple of teaser tweets letting her 624,000 followers know that she would be premiering a new song later that day.

M.I.A initially stated that she would be unveiling a track called ‘All My People’ but instead premiered another song titled ‘Can See Can Do’ (listen below).

She decided: "Actually I want to release 'All My People' when all my people are ready".

‘Can See Can Do’ is the first new music to be heard from M.I.A. since her 2013 album, ‘Matangi’. Her last single release from said album was 2014’s ‘Double Bubble Trouble’. Her last featured spot was on Madonna’s 2012 single ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’’ alongside Nicki Minaj.

The 'Bad Girls' musician also hinted that more new music is on the way later this year as she tweeted: "To my hardcore fans hang in there summer is coming".
