Controversial hitmaker M.I.A. has announced details of an exciting U.S. only release.

The outspoken star will treat her stateside fans to an exclusive re-recording of her single 'Bad Girls', but instead of making it available as a download or a CD she is set to unveil it in the form of a stunning USB necklace.

The USB (pictured above left), which will retail at $50 and is only going to be sold through her official website from July 6, also features remixes by Danja, Switch and Leo Justi.

The 'Bad Girls' version that has been loaded onto the key includes guest vocals from the likes of Missy Elliot, Rye Rye and '212' newcomer Azealia Banks.

Earlier this year, M.I.A. performed alongside Madonna at the 2012 Super Bowl in the USA and rattled television bosses with her middle finger salute mid-song.
