Miley Cyrus has uploaded a photo online of what looks like rehearsals for her upcoming tour.

The US star is due to take her Bangerz Tour on the road in North America from February 14 and she has begun practising for the lengthy jaunt.

She took to Twitter today (January 17) to post a picture of herself performing alongside a backing cast. Cyrus simply posted:

"#bangerztour2014."

Speaking recently about the tour, Cyrus said that the concerts will be "fun and carefree". She revealed:

"I don't have a hard time making fun of myself, so the whole thing is making the way people perceive me and doing that even more, be the character myself. That's what I think I've been representing, more than anything, in the past year. Being fun and carefree, and that's really what the show represents."

Cyrus meanwhile is due to bring her Bangerz Tour to the UK from May 6.
