Miley Cyrus is set to strip things down for MTV Unplugged later this month.

The singer will feature on the iconic acoustic show when it airs in the US on January 29.

Her tunes will be re-imagined for the concert and some special guests look set to feature.

MTV's Amy Doyle commented: "The Unplugged stage has been home to some of the most iconic live performances of all time. Miley’s vision for the performance is like nothing we’ve ever seen. I can say that this will easily be one of the most memorable Unplugged performances to date."

Some other acts who have played the Unplugged show in the past include Florence + The Machine, Nirvana and Bruce Springsteen.

Cyrus will mine her latest album 'Bangerz' for the concert, which included tracks such as the singles 'Wrecking Ball' and 'We Can't Stop'.
