Miley Cyrus has blasted those who are making up scare stories about her illness.

The singer was hospitalised earlier this week after suffering a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics.

She pulled two tour dates set for April 15 and April 16 and the US star has now postponed another two shows that were due to take place on April 18 and 19 until August.

There appears to have been some rumour creation surrounding Cyrus's state of health, but she took to Twitter from hospital to set it straight.

She said: "So many ignorant stories out there no one is reading the official statement and these dumb asses are scaring my fans. Please read official...

"Shut the f*ck up & let me heal. stop scaring my family, friends, & fans."

Cyrus added a statement that confirms that she was taking antibiotics for a sinus infection.
