A rep for Miley Cyrus has dismissed speculation that her upcoming European tour could be axed as a result of ill health.

The singer is currently in hospital as she recovers from a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics.

She has postponed all of her remaining North America Bangerz tour dates to August, with European dates still scheduled for May and June.

There has been some gossip that Cyrus may not recover in time for the dates, but a rep stated:

"Miley’s European tour is going ahead as planned."

The singer is expected to visit the UK from May 6 for a series of arena shows.
