Miley Cyrus has acquired a restraining order against a male fan.

21-year-old Cyrus took action yesterday (May 23) following the arrest of a 24-year-old fan outside of a Los Angeles property that he believed to be owned by Miley.

Devon Meek told the arresting officers that he would not stop trying to meet the ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer until she "accepts him or he dies." He has now been placed in a psychiatric facility after displaying signs of a mental health disorder and remains in custody. 

The restraining order taken out by Miley Cyrus states that Meek must stay at least 100 yards away from her at all times.

A hearing is scheduled for June 16 where the restraining order may be extended for at least a three year period.
