Miley Cyrus on sister Noah: 'I want to prolong her innocence'

Pop superstar Miley Cyrus has spoken out about her 14-year-old sibling Noah and confessed that she feels a need to shelter her from the world of celebrity because she doesn't think she is strong enough to deal with the criticism and negativity that comes with it.

During a new interview with 2Day FM, Cyrus explained that she isn't sure her sister would survive in the entertainment industry so will encourage her love for horses and sports as much as possible in order to keep her on that path:

"She's really into sports. She really loves horses, so I'm going to keep her on that and that kind of innocence as long as I can. It takes someone really strong and someone who doesn't care what people think [to survive this industry]."

The 'We Can't Stop' beauty went onto add that Noah is just a natural entertainer, so she wouldn't be surprised if she ended up finding a career in front of the camera:

"She's a natural entertainer. Sometimes I'll be like, 'Oh my god, she's totally stealing my shine!' If she's in the room, all the attention is on Noah. She's kind of like a natural at it. So I feel like, if she wanted to [be a star] I wouldn't stop her."
