Miley Cyrus records Led Zeppelin cover

Miley Cyrus surprised her fans in the early hours of the morning by releasing an unexpected new song.

At around 4:30am today (September 13) the ‘Bangerz’ star posted a SoundCloud link on Twitter with the instruction: “Check dis shit out”.

The link directs to Miley covering a song written by Anne Bredon called ‘Babe, I’m Gonna Leave You’ which was made popular by Led Zeppelin.

However, 21-year-old Cyrus’ take on the track sees her changing the title to ‘Baby, I’m Gonna Leave You’.

Aside from music, the ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer made her presence felt at New York Fashion Week by attending an Alexander Wang party sporting no top but ice cream cone-shaped nipple tassels, and unveiling a joint accessories line with designer Jeremy Scott called Dirty Hippie.
