Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys to join 'The Voice' as new judges

'We Can't Stop' sensation Miley Cyrus and singer Alicia Keys will join 'The Voice' in America as new judges.

U.S. TV station NBC confirmed in a statement that the two superstars will sit alongside Adam Levine and Blake Shelton on the upcoming Season 11 of the talent show.

Cyrus took to her official Twitter page last night and confessed that she is very excited to be involved: "It's true! I am going to be the newest judge on Season 11 of The Voice @NBCTheVoice #thevoice." She is due to appear on the latest series as an adviser to Christina Aguilera's team as the live knockout rounds of the singing competition begin tomorrow.

At the beginning of March, Cyrus shared a post on Instagram and revealed her feelings over the current Presidential race in America, and voiced her concern over Donald Trump's ideologies: "Yes. That is a tear rolling down my cheek dripping off the end of my nose... This makes me so unbelievably scared and sad... Not only for our country but for animals that I love more than anything in this world..."

"My heart is broken into a 100000 pieces. I think I may vomit. That picture on the right is so disturbing... YOU are not destiny! It is not your job to decide when a living thing's life is over & YOU DT ARE NOT GOD NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU THINK YOU ARE!!! (& if he doesn't think he is "God" he thinks he is the f**king chosen one or some s**t! We're all just f**king jam between his rich ass toes! Honestly f**k this s**t. I am moving if this is my President! I don't say things I don't mean!)"
