A British man has credited singer and actress Miley Cyrus with helping him mend his broken heart.

39-year-old Yorkshireman Carl McCoid told the Daily Mail newspaper that the 19-year-old Disney starlet has been a source of constant inspiration since he went through a divorce back in 2009:

"Loads of people get all sorts of things tattooed onto their bodies, like Chinese symbols or pictures of cartoon characters. Why shouldn’t I be allowed to have loads of Miley Cyrus tattoos?"

He has 15 different pieces of body art relating to the 'See You Again' beauty, including a large portrait of her face on the top of his left arm and her name across his collarbones in a strong black font. He added:

"I am hoping that Miley’s agent will hear about me via Twitter, and then she will pass the message on to Miley…if I did [meet] her, then I would die. I would definitely die.”

Cyrus recently confirmed her engagement to Liam Hemsworth and revealed that she loves him because he shares her father's work ethic.
