Miley Cyrus has declared that she is planning to take a break from music following the release of her new album. The actress-singer is currently recording her third studio record, which is due for release later this year.

However, the 17-year-old admitted that she is looking to put a hold on her music career so that she can become inspired again, echoing similar statements she made last December in 2009.

Cyrus told Teen Vogue: "The more I make music that doesn't truly inspire me, the more I feel like I'm blending in with everyone else. So after this next album, I'm taking some time off."
