Miley Cyrus admits to pushing relationships aside as she makes new album

Miley Cyrus has revealed that she is so focused on her new album that she has "pushed aside" her relationships with people.

The singer - who Snoop Dogg recently suggested has split up with fiance Liam Hemsworth - made the statement on a Google+ Hangout chat with will.i.am.

The star revealed that she has inadvertently been forgetting about her friends and relationships with people as she makes her new record. Cyrus said:

"All I do is focus on my music. The only place I ever am is at the studio."

She continued: "I mean it's literally like my friends, my relationships with everyone around me have honestly changed since I've been working on my record because it's the only thing that I've wanted to give 120% to and I think it's the only time in my life that I've pushed everything aside, everyone aside, anything that, you know, really mattered and just became about the music."
