The singer recently unleashed the video for her new single 'We Can't Stop' and it instantly enjoyed huge success.

It racked up a massive 10.7m views on VEVO in its first day online - meaning that it has beaten Bieber's previous record.

He held the title with his Nicki Minaj collaboration video 'Beauty and a Beat', which gained 10.6m views in its first 24 hours.

'We Can't Stop' is scheduled to appear on Cyrus's new studio album, which is slated for a release later this year.

It will mark the follow-up to her previous record 'Can't Be Tamed', which hit shelves in 2010.
