Miley Cyrus: 'Young people shouldn't go into acting, enjoy being a kid first'

'We Can't Stop' hitmaker Miley Cyrus has revealed that she wouldn't encourage young people to pursue an acting career because it's important to enjoy your childhood without added pressure.

The beauty rose to fame after starring on Disney's hit series 'Hannah Montana', and explained that if kids ask her for advice on how to break into the industry she would rather warn them against it:

"What's your advice to young people that want to be actors?" And I'm like: "Don't do it," because you need to enjoy being a kid."

"People don't realise, but with so many responsibilities you hold an entire company on your back and you're a kid, so you're supposed to f*ck up."

Cyrus added to Notion that as soon as you start to show signs of growing up, everything becomes difficult as the world is used to seeing you in a certain way: "When you do [f*ck up], it's the head of the company that ends up getting letters from a thousand different people, and that all comes down on him, which then comes down on me."

"I don't think any kid should be responsible for their personal life representing a company as big as that."
