American pop star Miley Cyrus has fuelled rumours about the state of her relationship with Liam Hemsworth after she unfollowed the actor on Twitter yesterday (September 14).

The young couple got engaged in June 2012 but the pair have been subject to gossip of infidelity.

Cyrus denied cheating claims made by US blogger Perez Hilton back in February after he implied that the ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer had been seeing the actor Ed Westwick.

Miley told Hilton: “Perez Hilton hope you find love one day but can you not f**k with mine.”

The former Disney starlet also defended her relationship in a magazine interview in April as she told Elle:

“It just seems right to be wearing this ring and to be committed. But we keep our relationship low-key and don't talk about it any more.”

Despite Miley’s decision to delete Hemsworth from her active Twitter page, 'The Hunger Games' star is still following Cyrus.
