Miley Cyrus on 'Bangerz': 'It's an arc, it tells the story that I've turned into someone else'

Pop songstress and former Disney starlet Miley Cyrus has opened up about the premise behind her new album 'Bangerz', which was released yesterday (October 8).

Speaking to MTV News, she explained that it acts as an arc and tells the story of her journey, so she hopes people can understand that from listening to it in full:

"I hope they really see it as the arc that it is. Even when I did my documentary for MTV, it really showed a complete arc of where I was and where I am now so I hope they kind of see that."

"It's not a one-listen record. If you keep listening to it, you can keep seeing where I change. And it's a real story and a real grower."

Cyrus added that by the time the end of the record rolls around, it should show that she has finally become someone else and has grown significantly: "I feel like I got to where I finally was on 'Someone Else', which was the end of the record. I've turned into someone else. That's what I mean about it kind of being like a story. I kind of all did it in that time."
