Miley Cyrus has praised Harry Styles and his Halloween costume of the 'We Can't Stop' singer.

A host of people around the world used Cyrus - and in particular her now-iconic performance at August's MTV VMAs - as inspiration for Halloween.

Everyone from Paris Hilton to Joan Rivers paid homage to the 'Wrecking Ball' star on October 31 but it was One Direction singer Styles that especially caught the attention.

He was pictured in Japan wearing just a pair of shorts alongside a foam finger - and Cyrus told Ryan Seacrest that it was one of the best outfits going.

She said: "I think Harry might have been one of my favourites. Those shorts were very revealing."

Cyrus added: "Much more revealing and aggressive than my costume, I'm just saying! I told him he could have the 'OG' foam finger, but he was in Tokyo."

The flamboyant star herself dressed up as Lil Kim for the spooky day.

The US singer meanwhile recently announced her North American Bangerz Tour, which is due to take place in February, March and April next year.
