Miley Cyrus has been getting into the festive spirit by sharing some seasonal images online.

The “We Can’t Stop” star created a Christmas greeting picture by lifting up her sweatshirt but added the message “Merry Christmas” to protect her modesty (see image below).

Cyrus also added a Santa Claus hat and a snowman graphic to her picture before posting it on Twitter with the message:

“Merry Christmas…THANK YOU NY for being one of the few states to @freethenipple."

The 21-year-old singer made reference to the “Free The Nipple” movement that she showed interest in earlier this week which is a campaign that aims to end the media's "glorification of violence and repression of nudity."

Talking about the movement Miley tweeted: “It's not about getting your titties out. It's about equality.”

Cyrus also gave her followers a further pair of Christmas images; one showing her posing in the snow with a friend titled “Christmas Kittys” and a another called “Slutty Santa” taken from the date she performed in Los Angeles for the KIIS-FM Jingle Ball (see images below).
