Morrissey has announced plans to release his first novel.

The singer will release 'List of the Lost' in late September.

The book will be published by Penguin UK as a softcover/paperback.

The novel will be available in the UK, Ireland, Australia, India, New Zealand and South Africa.

The release comes nearly two years after Morrissey unleashed his successful memoir Autobiography.

The book reached No.1 on the UK bestsellers list.
