Morrissey condemns TSA for lack of action over sexual assault

Morrissey has launched a verbal attack on the Transportation Security Administration due to the agency’s failure to act upon an official complaint he filed over claims of sexual assault.

Back in July, when travelling through San Francisco International Airport the ‘First Of The Gang To Die’ singer reported that after he completed a standard body scan and inspection of his belongings he was taken aside by a male TSA representative who touched his penis and testicles.

Following the incident Morrissey filed an official complaint with the assistance of British Airways.

At the time of the original news story the TSA defended their staff by stating: “Upon review of closed circuit TV footage, TSA determined that the supervised officer followed standard operating procedures in the screening of this individual.”

However, Morrissey has now spoken out after finding that his complaint has not been acted upon.

Writing on fan site True To You, Morrissey stated: “TSA have ignored my official and legal and constitutional complaint. From this we gather that TSA stands for Thorough Sexual Assault. If you are traveling through San Francisco International Airport you must be ready for a full sexual attack by people who claim to have your interests at heart.”

He signed off his comment by saying: “It is unlikely that ISIS would stoop so low.”
