Morrissey blames Beyoncé for the extinction of the rhino

Animal rights campaigner and singer Morrissey has hit out at Beyoncé for her outlandish choice of animal-skin clothing.

During a recent concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the star was preparing to perform his song 'Meat Is Murder' when he addressed the crowd about the extinction of rhinos and blamed it on the 'Halo' hitmaker's choice of handbags and outfits.

He can be heard telling his audience: "The rhino is now more or less extinct, and it's not because of global warming or shrinking habitats. It's because of Beyonce's handbags. So, God bless the rhino."

Beyoncé came under fire from PETA towards the end of last month after the bodysuit she wore for her Super Bowl half-time concert was revealed as being made from python skin and "panelled iguana".

She then infuriated the organisation for a second time shortly after for commissioning a pair of sneakers (pictured below) to be created from ostrich, crocodile, sting ray, anaconda, and calf hair.
