Eventbrite Partners With Jo Cox Foundation’s The Great Get Together

London, June 1 – Eventbrite, the world’s largest event technology platform which powers nearly three million events around the globe each year, is partnering with the Jo Cox Foundation’s The Great Get Together to help bring communities all over Britain closer together. At over a hundred thousand community events like street parties, BBQs, games of football or bake offs, organised by local volunteers, The Great Get Together aims to organise the biggest neighbourhood celebrations since the Jubilee street parties on 16 – 18 June.

Using Eventbrite’s latest offering for highly customised brand pages, the company created a seamlessly integrated events hub for both event organisers and attendees of The Great Get Together. This integration allows event hosts to easily create and manage their own community events for the Great Get Together and to register them with the national organisation team.

For attendees, the page is a central location to find inspiring public The Great Get Together events in their area, thanks to Eventbrite’s global event directory.

“The portal we’ve created for The Great Get Together blends in seamlessly with the campaign’s design and functions as a central events hub that will supply the campaign organisers with data insights and analysis that will help them grow The Great Get Together even further across the UK,” says Marino Fresch, UK Marketing Director at Eventbrite. “We believe in the power of events to bring people together to make a difference, and we’re glad that we can be part of this campaign to support Jo Cox’s cause.”

Iona Lawrence, Director of the Jo Cox Foundation, said: “We’re delighted to have teamed up with Eventbrite for The Great Get Together. The platform they are providing will be an absolutely invaluable resource in the coming weeks, and will certainly make our lives a lot easier! We’ll be able to keep far better track of the many wonderful events taking place across the country and help promote events directly with organisers. It also allows us to find out in lots more detail about what exactly people will be getting up to over the weekend. It’s a fantastic resource for Get Together organisers as well, which makes the planning of their event as straightforward and stress-free as possible.”
