Ne-Yo scores a midweek No.1 with 'Let Me Love You'

R&B sensation Ne-Yo has shot into the top spot on today's midweek singles chart update (September 5) with his new offering, 'Let Me Love You'.

He has knocked Little Mix's chart-topping debut 'Wings' down 3 places to No.4 and there are 2 other new entries in the Top 5 from The Script with 'Hall Of Fame' at 2 and P!nk with 'Blow Me (One Last Kiss)' at 3. The Official Charts company has revealed that there are just 2,000 copies separating the top 3 singles.

Meanwhile, fun.'s 'Some Nights' has climbed 3 places to No.11, Wiley's former No.1 'Heatwave' has dipped to No.14, and Cheryl Cole's 'Under The Sun' has risen 8 positions to sit at No.16.

Flo Rida's 'I Cry' has made an appearance at No.22, Plan B's new cut 'Deepest Shame' has debuted at No.27, and The Vaccines have a new entry with 'Teenage Icon' at No.35.
