Ne-Yo apologises for criticism rant

R&B star Ne-Yo has apologised for his angry rant against critics, explaining he takes his craft "very serious".

The singer performed at the NBA All-Star Game in Houston on Sunday (February 17), and his show garnered a series of criticism online.

Ne-Yo took to Twitter last night to rant about the negative reviews, writing: "Shout out to those showing love. Everybody has an off day....all good. F**k any and all haters. Talk it while I live it b**ches!!! (sic)."

However, the star has now apologised for his angry reaction.

Taking to the social networking site this afternoon, Ne-Yo posted: "I take my craft very serious. However, forgot for a second that everyone's entitled to their own opinion...I won't forget again. ALL LOVE (sic)."

Ne-Yo performed hits 'Let's Go' and 'Let Me Love You' during the start of the sports show. John Legend and Alicia Keys also sang at the event - with Legend performing a pre-game version of the American National Anthem, while superstar Keys dazzled with a half-time set.
