Ne-Yo happy to have "two tracks" on new Beyoncé album

Ne-Yo has expressed his joy at reportedly having two songs on Beyoncé's new album.

The tracklisting for the singer's new record allegedly leaked onto the internet recently and it revealed that the US R&B star supposedly had two tracks on it.

Despite not knowing whether the leak is real or not, Ne-Yo told Digital Spy that he is pleased to see his work possibly on the record. He said:

"I saw that Beyoncé's tracklisting just leaked and I've got a couple of joints on there, which is good news. I'm very happy about that."

When asked if the tracklisting was real, Ne-Yo said: "I don't know, I mean you never really can tell until the album comes out."

Talking about writing for the album, which is expected to be released later this year, he added:

"I've heard some songs from the album so I knew what direction I should be going in. The last thing you want to do is write a song that makes no sense with the direction of the album, so she let me hear some stuff so I knew where to aim."
