Ne-Yo on Beyoncé's new album: 'She's still trying to figure out what she wants it to be'

R&B sensation Ne-Yo has given Billboard.com an update on global superstar Beyoncé's forthcoming new album, which he recently confirmed he has two tracks on.

Speaking about projects outside of his own, the 'Beautiful Monster' hitmaker explained that he's still working on music for the beauty and it may take some time to surface as she's a perfectionist:

"I'm still putting stuff together for Beyoncé's album. They're still trying to figure out what they want that to be, which I'm not mad at."

"Beyoncé's the kind of artist where you're not gonna see it till it's right. And her fans -- they love her so they'll be patient."

Meanwhile, Ne-Yo has also contributed some cuts to Jay-Z's upcoming 'Magna Carta Holy Grail' album and he added that it's an exciting time for his musical talents: "The thing about Jay is again you don't know until it's done."

"I went in, I did a session where I laid down a couple hooks but I have no idea what's going to be kept. I heard some of the new stuff. It's amazing. With Jay-Z it's hard not to be amazing."
