Nicki Minaj announces new album release date

Nicki Minaj has revealed the long-awaited release date of her next album.

The 'Anaconda' star has been teasing the record 'The Pink Print' for months and on Tuesday (September 9) she confirmed its release date.

Speaking on Twitter, Minaj simply wrote: "11.24 The Pinkprint."

The record will act as the follow-up to 2012's 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded'.

The video for Minaj's 'Anaconda' meanwhile last month broke the VEVO record for the most amount of views over a 24-hour period - 19.6m.

Speaking about the accomplishment, Minaj told MTV:

"I didn't expect that. I didn't even expect the picture getting the controversy it got. I didn't expect that, so for the video to break a record, I was just like, 'What the?'...I didn't think the video was so sexy or crazy, but I guess. I don't know."
