Nicki Minaj feels that her sudden rise to fame has caused her to lose her "peace of mind". 

Speaking exclusively to Black Book Magazine, the 'Roman's Revenge' rapper explained:

“I no longer know who’s my friend or my enemy. I don’t know if they’re calling me because they like me or because they want a photo op, and that’s not a good feeling. I’m always second-guessing everyone, trying to figure out, Who is this person, and what do they want from me?”

She added: “I’ve lost my peace of mind".

"My best friend is having a baby, and I could probably count on one hand the number of times I’ve seen her since she got pregnant”

Minaj also revealed that as loved as she seems in the public eye, she knows people often have ulterior motives:

"Whether I’m smiling or not, I know that people are always waiting for me to slip up.”
