'Super Bass' superstar Nicki Minaj has picked up yet another coveted accolade for her incredible success in the music world. 

The talented rapper has been named Billboard's 2011 Rising Star and she will be presented with a special prize at Billboard's exclusive Women In Music Event on December 2 in New York City. 

Upon hearing the news, Minaj told fans: "I am deeply honored to be recognized by Billboard. My nation of barbz and I have come a mighty long way; yet we are nowhere close to where God will take us. Sit back and enjoy the ride."

Yesterday, November 23, the star revealed the name and release date of her forthcoming sophomore record and tweeted to her 7.3 million followers that her new album, 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded', will hit stores on February 14, 2012.
