Rap sensation Nicki Minaj has admitted that she would like to start a family in the next five years.

The 'Starships' hitmaker appeared as a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show recently and when asked where she sees herself in five years, Minaj explained that she hopes to have a child:

"Maybe I'll be having a baby. I would love to give birth on your show."

She also opened up about her fame and confessed that while it's great to be financially stable she isn't a materialistic person so likes to spend her money on treating her loved ones to gifts:

"I'm still not like a big spender ... I Love buying other people stuff, because when I buy myself something I feel like, I don't really need this. You know, 'Why am I getting it?' I just bought my best friends Range Rovers. They're really excited about that."
