Nicki Minaj stresses her entourage had nothing to do with fan's murder in Japan

'Super Bass' superstar Nicki Minaj took to social networking site Twitter earlier today (May 31) and expressed her sadness at learning one of her fans had been murdered in Japan.

She wrote: "Saddened to learn one of my precious fans; found tragically murdered in Japan. My love & prayers are with the family of Nicola Furlong."

Following an article posted on PerezHilton.com, which implied one of Minaj's backing dancers had some involvement in the tragedy, she sent the gossip columnist a public message to confirm that her entourage had nothing to do with it:

"My dancers had nothing to do w/this tragedy. No one in my entourage was questioned or arrested. They all flew home from Japan. That person on your sight is NOT my dancer. We do NOT know the men in custody. Too much misleading information."

She also appeared on UK television today as part of a montage on the Lorraine show and revealed that she is in love with Britain's sense of style, and only wears designers from the country when she visits the UK:

"All of the stuff I wear when I am in London is from London. I love it. I love, love, love, love British style."
