Nicki Minaj has offered fans a behind the scenes look at the making of her new music video.

The flamboyant star is releasing the track 'The Boys' as a single from her forthcoming re-issue of her 2012 album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded'.

The expanded release will be called 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded: The Re-Up' and it is scheduled to be released in November.

The short teaser clip for Minaj's 'The Boys' video sees the singing star walk down a street in typically colourful fashion.

As previously reported, Minaj reportedly got into a heated exchange with fellow American Idol judge Mariah Carey whilst filming on Tuesday (October 2).

It is said that the recording was stopped for the day to let the judges take a break.
